Donovan Solano, Pablo Sandoval Out Of Tuesday’s Lineup
4 years agoThe San Francisco Giants will be without both second baseman Donovan Solano and first baseman/designated hitter Pablo Sandoval for Tuesday’s contest against Houston. Solano is being held back due to abdominal soreness, while Sandoval is dealing with “family concerns.” It’s been a breakout 2020 campaign for Solano, a 32-year-old journeyman who has quickly barreled his way into season-long formats with his .458/.476/.661 slash line through his first 16 games. He has become a staple of the San Francisco order and one of the hottest rising waiver wire commodities in recent memory. The next chance that either man will have to re-enter the starting nine comes Wednesday against Astros right-hander Zack Greinke, which makes either a tricky proposition in DFS.
