6 years agoOakland Raiders head coach Jon Gruden called running back Doug Martin a "feature back" with Marshawn Lynch (groin) on Injured Reserve. The 29-year-old Martin hasn't done much of anything this year, rushing 27 times for 99 yards (3.7 yards per carry) and no touchdowns. There's nothing to suggest he'll be more effective with a larger workload, but he'll be in the RB3/flex picture now that he'll work early downs the rest of the way. Jalen Richard should help out on passing downs and is the more attractive waiver pickup in PPR leagues with the Raiders likely to be trailing more often than not.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
