Drew Brees A High-Floor Option At Quarterback
4 years agoNew Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees looks like he has another QB1 season in his arm. After an offseason of working on throwing the deep ball, the 41-year-old Brees enters 2020 as motivated as ever, considering this could be his last hurrah. An injury to his right hand forced him to miss six games in 2019, though he finished as a QB1 in six of his team's final seven games. It is worth noting that both his average depth of target and his pass attempts have decreased over the past few years, which lowers his potential ceiling. Still, Brees should be a low-end QB1 with a high floor in 2020, thanks to his incredible accuracy and the weapons at his disposal. He's a good option to target at his 69 ADP, particularly for managers with upside at other positions.
