5 years agoNew Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees will face the Carolina Panthers in Week 17. Brees is on fire coming into this one, with 935 passing yards and 12 touchdowns in his last three contests. Carolina doesn't present an impossible matchup- they rank 13th against the pass. The problem is, the Panthers have been one of the most pitiful teams in the NFL lately, with a seven-game losing streak. Fantasy owners of Brees should hope he can toss a couple touchdowns before this one gets out of hand, which it very well may. No one is benching Brees with the way he's played in the last few weeks, but fantasy owners shouldn't expect a top-five finish this week.--Tim Capurso
