4 years agoNew Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees (ribs, lung) could return in Week 14 against the Eagles. ESPN's Adam Schefter notes that Brees is improving from his injuries and was spotted throwing in practice. Brees is eligible to be activated as early as next week, though that doesn't necessarily mean he will play, as the Saints could opt for a more cautious approach with their 41-year-old signal-caller. Taysom Hill has started two games in the absence of Brees, doing damage with his legs but leaving a bit to be desired as a passer. Brees' potential return would be a welcome sight for fantasy managers, and particularly for those who have Alvin Kamara and Michael Thomas rostered.--Tim Capurso
