4 years agoNew Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees completed 33 of 47 passes for 325 yards with a touchdown throw and a rushing score along with one interception in a victory Monday night. It certainly wasn't pretty at times, as Brees looked shaky and inaccurate throughout the night, though he was good when he needed to be. His 47 pass attempts were by far a season-high, as New Orleans was forced to the air after being down 20-3 at the half. All things considered, Brees is sitting pretty comfortably as fantasy football's QB15, with nine touchdowns and three interceptions heading into a Week 6 bye. A Week 7 divisional clash with the Panthers awaits, a game where Brees will likely have his favorite target, Michael Thomas (ankle), back in the fold.--Tim Capurso
