4 years agoNew Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees completed 22 of 32 passes for 206 yards and three touchdowns in a 33-7 victory over the Panthers. Brees bounced back in the touchdown department, throwing one to three different receivers a week after going scoreless. It hasn't always been pretty- he's averaged below 7 yards per attempt in two of his three starts since returning from injury- but the veteran signal-caller is 2-1 with a close loss to the defending champion Chiefs being the only demerit. Brees will gear up for a playoff run, which will start at home against the Bears, who allowed 280 yards and two scores to Brees earlier this year.--Tim Capurso
