4 years agoNew Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees completed 29 of 36 passes for 288 yards and three touchdowns in a 37-30 loss to the Packers. Brees may not have looked downfield as much as others would have liked, but he certainly did enough to get the job done. He had a nice touchdown throw to Emmanuel Sanders in the end zone, but Brees' main job all night was to get the ball in the hands of Alvin Kamara, who could not be stopped. This was definitely an encouraging bounce-back from Brees for fantasy purposes and his future outlook would be helped even more if Michael Thomas (ankle) could suit up for Week 4 against a poor Lions' secondary.--Tim Capurso
