3 years agoLos Angeles Kings defenseman Drew Doughty (lower body) is forced to miss Saturday's meeting with St. Louis after being involved in a knee-on-knee collision in Friday's 3-2 loss to Dallas. His absence will give Olli Maatta a chance to make his season debut. The two-time Stanley Cup champion will have plenty to prove in 2021-22 after enduring a horrible season last term with just four points in 41 games. Knee injuries are never nice, but according to reports, Doughty avoided ligament damage, which is great news. However, it's unknown when he'll be ready to return.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
