Drew Gagnon Gets Rocked In First Career Start
6 years agoNew York Mets pitcher Drew Gagnon made his Major League debut on Tuesday against the Philadelphia Phillies, and it did not go well. Gagnon only lasted 4 2/3 innings pitched in the 7-3 loss, allowing six earned runs on seven hits and a walk while striking out two. He allowed two home runs on the evening, one apiece to Phillies third baseman Maikel Franco and outfielder Odubel Herrera. Chances are, Gagnon won’t see another start for a bit. He wasn’t exactly performing well in the Minor Leagues, either, pitching to a 4.67 ERA and 5.10 FIP in 17 starts this season. He can be ignored in all fantasy leagues.
