3 years agoDenver Broncos quarterback Drew Lock (shoulder) is expected to close out the season as the starter in Week 18 with Teddy Bridgewater (concussion) still in the league's concussion protocol, according to head coach Vic Fangio. Lock had a miserable start in Week 16 when he threw for just 153 yards with no touchdowns, but he showed some signs of improvement against the Chargers in Week 17. He threw for 245 yards and a touchdown after briefly exiting with a shoulder injury, so he will look to build on his performance going into the 2022 season, as the Broncos have a lot of uncertainty at the position moving forward. Lock is nothing but a low-end QB2 when he is the starter, as the Denver offense figures to lean on running backs Melvin Gordon III and Javonte Williams heavily once again.--Tommy Adamopoulos - RotoBaller
