Drew Lock Survives Draft Day, Seahawks Pass On Drafting QB
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks quarterback Drew Lock will compete with Geno Smith and Jacob Eason to be the team's starter in 2022. The Seahawks did not select a quarterback in the 2022 NFL Draft and will roll with either Lock, Smith, or Eason this season. The 25-year-old was part of the trade package that the Seahawks received in the Russell Wilson blockbuster deal that was completed in the offseason. Lock threw for 787 yards, two touchdowns, two interceptions while rushing for 53 yards, and two scores over six games for Denver in 2021. Lock has a big arm and is the favorite to win Seattle's starting job, but he will look to improve after being mediocre with a 25:20 TD: INT ratio over three seasons with Denver.
