5 years agoSan Francisco Giants starting pitcher Drew Pomeranz was hammered for seven earned runs, nine hits and a walk with four strikeouts over 4 1/3 innings in a loss against the Los Angeles Dodgers. He served up three homers while throwing just 57 of his 99 pitches for strikes, including 12 first-pitch strikes to the 23 batters he faced. He slipped to 2-7 with a 7.09 ERA and dismal 1.78 WHIP across 53 1/3 innings over 13 starts and the opposition is hitting .308 against him. Pomeranz should be avoided in all fantasy leagues at this point. His next scheduled start is tentatively set for Monday against the Colorado Rockies.--Daniel Dobish
