4 years agoSan Diego Padres left-handed pitcher Drew Pomeranz (forearm) has no structural damage to his left forearm after undergoing testing on the ailment. Pomeranz has dealt with forearm tightness over the past week and a half, throwing San Diego's bullpen plans into flux. Set to be an integral part of the relief corps, Pomeranz could snare save opportunities on occasion. In 20 appearances with the Padres last season, the southpaw posted a career-best 39.7 percent K rate, while allowing just three runs over 18 2/3 innings. The expectation is for Pomeranz to return to Cactus League action soon, so fantasy managers can resume targeting him in the late rounds of season-long drafts.--Jesse Borek
