7 years agoBoston Red Sox starting pitcher Drew Pomeranz (forearm) will be activated from the DL to start one of the games in the upcoming nine-game road trip, according to Christopher Smith of MassLive.com. He pitched 5 1/3 with two earned runs on four hits and four strikeouts to go with three walks in his second rehab start on Friday. Pomeranz could potentially start either in Anaheim or in Oakland. Pomeranz has a 5.02 and a 1.80 career ERA against them, respectively. As such, if you were to start him this week, you would prefer the start is against the Athletics.
