4 years agoSan Francisco Giants pitcher Drew Smyly (finger) was activated off of the 10-day injured list on Thursday evening. The 31-year-old left-hander has not appeared in a game since August 1 with a strained index finger. Smyly is returning to the team in a relief role, after posting a 3.24 ERA, 1.32 WHIP, and 11/4 K/BB ratio across 8 1/3 innings to begin the year.
