6 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Drew Smyly threw 37 pitches in a two-inning simulated game on Wednesday morning. He has been on the injured list since April 23 with nerve pain in his throwing arm. Smyly has struggled so far this year with a 7.80 ERA. This could mean good news for the guys you have on your team that are facing Smyly, more so than those owners who are still holding onto him on their fantasy teams. If everything stays on track, the Blue Jays will be the first team with the opportunity to increase his ERA on Sunday in Arlington.--Nate Duffett
