6 years agoChicago Cubs starting pitcher Drew Smyly (elbow) will begin his rehab assignment by throwing one inning for Class A South Bend on Thursday. Smyly is recovering from Tommy John surgery and there is no word on if he will pitch in the big leagues this year.
