Duke Johnson Hoping For More Work In Week 9
6 years agoCleveland Browns running back Duke Johnson has been barely utilized through the first eight games of the season, averaging just over five touches per game. That being said, the Monday firing of offensive coordinator Todd Haley gives Johnson's fantasy owners some hope for the rest of the season. While Haley didn't seem particularly interested in using Johnson, new offensive coordinator Freddie Kitchens could change that going forward. Despite the change at OC, fantasy gamers should wait and see how Johnson is used against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 9. While Johnson shouldn't be started this week, he is worth a preemptive waiver add if he was cut loose in any 12-team or larger leagues.
