Duke Johnson Hoping To Be More Involved In Week 3
6 years agoCleveland Browns running back Duke Johnson has gone criminally underused through the first two weeks of the NFL season. Despite being one of Cleveland's top playmakers, Johnson has seen just 11 total touches, eight carries and three receptions in Todd Haley's offense. Head coach Hue Jackson vowed to the media on Tuesday that they would try to get the ball to Johnson more frequently but it will be hard to trust that statement until it is proven on the field. Johnson draws a tough matchup in Week 3 against a New York Jets defense that has allowed just 13 receptions for 71 yards to opposing running backs in their two games. Johnson is nothing more than a low-end, desperation flex play in Week 3.
