Dustin Fowler Leads Off For First Time Of Career
7 years agoOakland Athletics rookie outfielder Dustin Fowler will leadoff for the first time of his short career against the Blue Jays Sunday. He has played in only nine games this year. In the last seven days, Fowler has a .400 OBP with a homer, four RBI and two stolen bases. The Athletics will look to see if he can be a better table-setter than their normal leadoff man, Marcus Semien. Matt Joyce, who routinely gets a start against right-handers will take a seat Sunday while Chad Pinder stays in the lineup to play left field.
