6 years agoOakland Athletics outfielder Dustin Fowler went 3-for-5 with a single and two home runs in Fridays' 16-0 win over the Royals. The 23-year-old hit a solo shot in the third inning and a three-run bomb in the ninth. Fowler had a slow start to the season and has a .216/.281/.451 slash line to show for it. However, while he doesn't see every-day playing time, he has been picking things up lately, posting a .278/.316/.611 slash line in his last seven games. The young rookie has promise and he may be able to contribute to fantasy owners' teams sooner than later if he can continue to get things going.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
