2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Dustin May was welcomed back to the majors with a victory on Saturday as his club shutout the Marlins 7-0. The right-hander tossed five of the scoreless frames himself while allowing just one hit and two walks in the 71-pitch outing. May also struck out nine batters in the contest, showing little signs of rust after undergoing Tommy-John Surgery last May. The performance wasn't all that surprising since he dominated in his five minor league rehab appearances, but it was good to see him carry over the success nonetheless. May will make his next start in a rematch versus the Marlins next weekend, this time from the confines of LoanDepot Park in Miami.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
