Dustin May Return Unknown, Day-To-Day With Foot Contusion
4 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers right-handed pitcher Dustin May left his start Thursday against Arizona with what has been deemed a left foot contusion, with his official designation to return being day-to-day. The team has not yet made a decision on whether or not May will need an IL stint, but with Walker Buehler (blister) already out of the mix, they’ll be replacing significant arms for at least the next week. Having compiled a 2.81 ERA across his first nine starts this year, May has developed into a key rotation cog for the Dodgers, one that is likely to be a part of the team’s postseason rotation so long as he is cleared from his foot ailment.
