Dustin May Set For Final Rehab Start On Sunday
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers pitcher Dustin May (elbow) will make one final rehab start with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday before entering the Dodgers' starting rotation. According to manager Dave Roberts, If that goes well during Sunday's start, he's on track to make his season debut during that home series against the Miami Marlins. The 24-year-old allowed one run on three hits (including a solo home run) and a walk with eight strikeouts on just 68 pitches in his previous rehab start. After undergoing Tommy John surgery in late May last season, he continues to work his way back and could make his 2022 debut soon. May owned a 2.74 ERA, 0.96 WHIP, and 35 strikeouts over 23 innings in 2021.
