Dustin May To Make Season Debut Saturday
2 years agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Dustin May (elbow) will make his 2022 season debut on Saturday against the Miami Marlins, according to skipper Dave Roberts. May made his fifth and final minor league rehab start for Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday and allowed just one run while striking out 10 batters in five innings. In six rehab outings while recovering from Tommy John surgery, May gave up only four earned runs on 14 hits while striking out 36 and walking six in 21 innings pitched. The 24-year-old right-hander will be a much-needed rotation addition after it was announced that Walker Buehler (elbow) will miss the rest of the season. May needs to be rostered in all fantasy formats the rest of the season, and his strikeout upside could be a difference-maker.
