7 years agoBoston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia (knee) will play two more games at Triple-A Pawtucket and is expected to return to Boston on Friday, according to Ian Browne of MLB.com. Pedroia is slated to be in the Pawtucket lineup on Tuesday and Wednesday. Thus far, he has one hit in eight at-bats with a run and two walks. Pedroia has not reported any soreness or any setbacks at all. The Red Sox offense is performing well enough to carry the team, but the defense is in need of Pedroia's fielding chops.
