7 years agoBoston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia (knee) said he's been feeling great after his knee surgery. "I feel great. I don’t hurt. I’m ready...It’s been pretty enjoyable to not be in pain," Pedroia said. It's good news to see that the veteran is feeling good, but Boston will surely play it safe and slow with him in spring training, and he remains a question mark to be ready by Opening Day. He's become the definition of injury risk the past few seasons, and he managed to play in only 105 games in 2017 while hitting .293 with seven homers and 62 RBI. When healthy, though, Pedroia still offers a solid batting average with plenty of walks (11.0 percent walk rate in the first half). His lack of power, however, will make him more of a middle infielder in deep mixed and AL-only leagues moving forward.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
