7 years agoBoston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia (knee) played three innings in an extended spring training game on Friday, according to Alex Speier of The Boston Globe. This was his first game action since surgery. Manager Alex Cora equated this game to a Red Sox spring training game against a college team. Cora also reiterated that currently there is no timetable for Pedroia's return. There is no need to roster Pedroia at this time.--Ellis Canady - RotoBaller
