7 years agoBoston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia (knee) will not play in Tuesday's contest with Triple-A Pawtucket. He was expected to play in rehab games on Tuesday and Wednesday before being re-evaluated. Pedroia is sitting out on Tuesday due to light rain, so it's unclear if that will mess up the timetable for his return. There were some rumors that Pedroia could return for the beginning of the six-game homestand on Friday. It sounds like Pedroia is close to returning, so that's a good sign. He needs to be owned in all deeper leagues. Many standard league owners may want to stash Pedroia, because he should be off the disabled list soon.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
