Dustin Peterson Makes First MLB Hit A Game-Winner
6 years agoDetroit Tigers outfielder Dustin Peterson got his first career hit Tuesday, and it was a big one. The rookie lined a double off Yankees closer Aroldis Chapman to drive in Niko Goodrum, giving the Tigers a 2-1 lead in the top of the ninth. Peterson would then come around to score an insurance run for the visiting Tigers. Peterson doesn't hold much fantasy value at this point, but it's still a pretty cool way to start a Major League career.
