5 years agoWashington Redskins quarterback Dwayne Haskins will take the field Sunday to face a Lions Defense that has allowed six straight quarterbacks to throw for multiple touchdowns. Even Mitch Trubisky is included in this sample. While there's considerable room for optimism regarding Haskins' outlook in this matchup, he has unfortunately shown little to inspire confidence from fantasy owners. In his two starts, the rookie has failed to throw for more than 214 yards, and just barely salvaged a pedestrian Week 11 outing with two inconsequential fourth-quarter touchdown lobs. With the fantasy playoffs on the horizon, now is not the time to tempt fate. Haskins should remain on the waiver wire unless you find yourself in desperate need of a second QB in two-QB leagues.--Chris O'Reilly
