5 years agoWashington Redskins quarterback Dwayne Haskins threw the team's only touchdown in Thursday's preseason finale, a seven-yard pass to Steven Sims Jr. in the first quarter. Haskins finished his evening with 10 completions on 17 attempts for 104 yards. Haskins rebounded nicely after a preseason opener in which he was picked off twice, throwing two touchdowns and committing zero turnovers in Washington's final three exhibitions. But he still completed less than 55% of his passes in the last three outings, and will begin the season as Case Keenum's backup. Keenum probably doesn't have the longest of leashes, considering Haskins's upside.--Chris O'Reilly
