Dwayne Haskins Jr. Will Be Inactive Again Sunday
4 years agoWashington Football Team quarterback Dwayne Haskins Jr. (illness) will not be on the team’s active roster for Sunday’s contest versus the Giants as he continues to battle a non-COVID-19 illness. Kyle Allen will hold down starting QB duties, with Alex Smith serving as his back-up. It’s unclear how the Washington QB situation will shake out once Haskins is officially cleared to return, but Allen sounds like the starter for the time being, with Haskins undoubtedly on the outside looking in, despite having made 11 starts in the last two years and having been the No. 15 overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft. There’s no clear path to Haskins returning to fantasy relevance in the short-term, so he can safely be placed on the waiver wire in all season-long formats.
