Dyami Brown Impressing Ryan Fitzpatrick
3 years agoWashington Football Team wide receiver Dyami Brown is starting to earn the trust of his quarterback, Ryan Fitzpatrick. The veteran signal-caller has shown confidence in the rookie, which could mean that Brown is in for a larger role than most have anticipated. "You could just tell that he's a playmaker. He likes being out there making big plays," Fitzpatrick said. The 21-year-old took full advantage of Curtis Samuel's absence during training camp, which led to him getting some practice with the first-team offense. Head coach Ron Rivera has said that Brown will make it easier for Terry McLaurin, the speedy Samuel, and all of the other pass-catchers because of his speed opening up the offense. The former North Carolina standout could get some meaningful playing time this season, but it seems that there aren't enough targets to go around for consistent fantasy production in redraft leagues. Nonetheless, he makes for an intriguing dynasty asset because of his promising outlook down the road.
