Dyami Brown Making Strong First Impression
3 years agoWashington Football Team rookie wide receiver Dyami Brown was selected in the third round of the 2021 NFL draft, with many believing this was one of the biggest steals of the entire draft. During Washington's minicamp, Brown started to turn heads. "We love the speed, we love the playmaking ability, his contested catches is what stood out," head coach Ron Rivera said. The rookie WR has drawn some comparisons to teammate Terry McLaurin, who was also impressed with the former North Carolina wideout. "He's a guy who can really stretch the field. It's just a matter of the quarterbacks getting used to his speed and learning how to connect that way." The learning curve that comes with transitioning from college to the NFL will likely limit Brown's fantasy production in 2021. Brown will likely start the season as the WR4, playing behind McLaurin, Curtis Samuel and Adam Humphries. Unless some of Washington's WRs miss any time during the season, the rookie will not be worth a roster spot in redraft leagues.
