Dylan Bundy Exits Monday’s Game With Heat Exhaustion
3 years agoUpdating a previous report, Los Angeles Angels starting pitcher Dylan Bundy (illness) exited Monday's matchup against the Yankees and was replaced by Jose Suarez. Bundy was observed vomiting while on the bump before his premature departure after nearly two innings of work, and he was officially diagnosed with heat exhaustion due to the 90-degree New York weather. Although things may change, it doesn't appear that the righty will suffer any long-term ramifications from the ailment and should be good to go for his next turn through the rotation.
