Dylan Bundy Turns In Average Start Saturday
6 years agoBaltimore Orioles starting pitcher Dylan Bundy allowed three runs on eight hits (including a solo home run) and a walk with eight strikeouts in 5 1/3 innings against the Royals Saturday. The 25-year-old has been frustrating all season, showing both promise and stretches of ineffectiveness. He now has a 5.36 ERA with a 9.55 K/9 rate, a 2.71 BB/9 rate, and a whopping 2.16 HR/9 rate. Bundy could be a middle to high-end fantasy option if he could just keep the ball in the park, but his inability to do so severely limits his upside. He will face the Rays in his next start Friday.
