3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals outfielder Dylan Carlson went 2-for-4 with a home run, a walk, four RBI and a run scored in an 8-3 win over the Cubs on Monday night. It was Carlson's eighth home run of the season, as he's now slashing .254/.338/.392 with eight home runs, 35 RBI and 47 runs scored over 92 games. He's been slumping over his last 15 games, where he's slashing .194/.275/.290 with one home run, four RBI, seven runs scored and 21 strikeouts. Hopefully Monday's performance could be the start of him turning things around, but for now Carlson is not really a viable option in shallower leagues.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
