4 years agoChicago White Sox right-handed pitcher Dylan Cease has displayed an electric fastball to open his Major League career (average 97.1 MPH in 2020), but he has yet to consistently get outs when pitching at his home ballpark. Cease will be on the hill Friday at Guaranteed Rate Field, where he has amassed a 6.82 ERA and 1.81 WHIP in seven starts. In addition to his home yard playing hitter-friendly to begin the year, Cleveland comes into town having erupted for 13 runs Thursday. While Cease’s exciting arm always allows for the upside of a high strikeout outing, his .470 xwOBACON and 7.64 xERA to begin the season make him a red flag DFS option.--Jesse Borek
