5 years agoChicago White Sox pitching prospect Dylan Cease struggled on Friday for Triple-A Charlotte. Cease went 5 2/3 innings and allowed nine hits, six runs (five earned), three walks and struck out seven on the evening. Cease is one of the top pitching prospects in the game, but has struggled lately. Over his last four starts, Cease has allowed 24 hits, 16 earned runs, 11 walks and struck out 13 batters over 16 1/3 innings. With how we’ll Cease has pitched, the hope is that this is just a bump in the road. Cease is expected to make his debut this year and he could be called up as early as July. Cease will be worth rostering in all formats when he does get the call.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
