Dylan Cease Limits Twins To One Hit
2 years agoChicago White Sox starting pitcher Dylan Cease threw seven innings Sunday, giving up no runs on just a single hit and two walks to the Minnesota Twins in an 11-0 victory to pull the team within three games of the division lead at the All-Star break. Despite a string of dominant seasons for Cease, he has somehow still not been named to the All-Star team. With a 9-4 record, a 2.15 ERA, a 1.18 WHIP, and 150 strikeouts in 104 2/3 innings, Cease should be recognized as being among the very top starting pitchers in the majors, and perhaps even moreso in fantasy baseball.
