Dylan Floro Struggles And Takes The Loss On Monday
4 years agoMiami Marlins relief pitcher Dylan Floro struggled again on Monday, taking the loss in a 4-2 game against the St. Louis Cardinals. Floro was brought in to pitch in the eighth inning of a 2-2 tie, but he gave up two runs on two hits and two walks, dropping his record to 2-4. Floro was outstanding to start the season, but he's struggled a lot more lately. Manager Don Mattingly has stubbornly kept Floro in an eighth inning role despite the fact that he's a pitch-to-contact guy who would serve much better in a middle relief role. Floro should still have fantasy value in holds leagues as long as he's pitching in the eighth inning, but most leagues will have higher upside options available on the waiver wire.
