Dylan Larkin Posts Goal, Assist In Loss To Panthers
5 years agoDetroit Red Wings center Dylan Larkin scored his ninth goal of the season and added one assist to go along with three shots on goal in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Panthers. Larkin's goal from close range gave the Red Wings a one-goal advantage in the opening period, while the 23-year-old would contribute with a helper with the net empty and under five minutes remaining in the contest. Darren Helm, Frans Nielsen and Luke Glendening each added goals of their own in the loss. Larkin is up to nine goals, 15 assists and 24 points through 39 games, but his value in standard formats is diminished due to a negative-15 rating on a Red Wings team that owns the NHL's worst goal differential by far at the season's midway point.
