7 years agoThe Philadelphia Eagles re-signed running back Darren Sproles to a one-year contract. Sproles wanted last season to be his final one, but after an ACL tear ended his season early, Sproles decided to come back for one more. Head coach Doug Pederson had long stated that the team wanted to bring the veteran runner back, so it's no surprise to see it become official. Jay Ajayi will lead the Philly backfield in 2018, but Sproles and Corey Clement will likely share the passing-down work.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
