3 years agoThe wife of free-agent cornerback Stephon Gilmore said on Twitter that the Philadelphia Eagles have reached out to her husband. Gilmore has been named to four straight Pro Bowls and was the Defensive Player of the Year in 2019 with the New England Patriots. The 31-year-old played in just eight games due to injury in his first season with the Carolina Panthers last year, but he played at a high level when on the field and is still one of the better cover corners in the league. Gilmore was originally a first-round selection (10th overall) by the Buffalo Bills in 2012 out of South Carolina.
