7 years agoThe Philadelphia Eagles restructured defensive end Chris Long's contract. They guaranteed Long a base salary of $2.5 million and eliminated $1.5 million that would have only been reached through incentives and bonuses. Long is reportedly considering retirement and still has not made a decision on 2018, but the Eagles are hoping that guaranteeing him the money that he could have reached will convince him to come back for one more season.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
