4 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Miles Sanders has been told he will be "the guy" by head coach Doug Peterson. Sanders had a productive rookie season rushing for 818 yards and three touchdowns on 179 carries while adding an impressive 50 receptions, 509 yards and three more touchdowns through the air. Now, with Jordan Howard out of the picture, the Philadelphia backfield will run through Sanders despite the presence of Boston Scott and Corey Clement. Peterson has used multiple backs most of his coaching tenure and other backs will be involved some, but it sounds like the talented sophomore could be in for a breakout season and fantasy managers should feel confident in Sanders as their RB1.--Mike Schwarzenbach - RotoBaller
