Eagles Will Keep Alshon Jeffery
4 years agoDespite reports earlier in the day about it, the Philadelphia Eagles have no intention of trading wide receiver Alshon Jeffery, according to a report by NJ.com. The 30-year-old was activated off the PUP list today, but it still remains unclear when he could return to the field, though it's likely at some point a few weeks after the season starts. General manager Howie Roseman wants to keep the veteran on the team. Jeffery is coming off a down year in which he appeared in 10 games for the Eagles in 2019 and amassed 43 receptions, 490 yards, 11.4 yards per catch, and four touchdowns. He's not fantasy-relevant at the moment, but could be a waiver wire pickup later in the season depending on how much he plays.
