Eddie Rosario Exits Thursday’s Game Early
3 years agoCleveland Indians outfielder Eddie Rosario (abdomen) exited Thursday's game against the Astros early with right abdominal tightness. He was removed from the game in the third inning and replaced by Yu Chang. Rosario went 1-for-1 before leaving. The severity of Rosario's injury is unknown at this time and he's considered day-to-day. Fantasy managers should continue to monitor the situation, as an update will likely be provided after the game. After a slow start to the season, Rosario has recorded at least one hit in 14 of his last 16 contests. The 29-year-old is slashing .252/.295/.372 with six homers and 45 RBI across 274 at-bats in 2021. Chang and Ernie Clement would see an uptick in playing time if Rosario is forced to miss any games.
